This is a nice shot of the mouth of Sideling Hill Creek, where it empties into the Potomac River. The greenery in the distance is West Virginia, but the creek in the foreground is in Maryland.
That is some classic photo opinion there! Whoa! Just imagine the mind of the guy who thought of, paid for, and built that shoe! Good photo though. I hope your other critics are better.
Your comment is attached to a photo from a derelict shipyard in Copenhagen. All the same, I don't agree; White's Ferry would probably become extinct, and I think that's worth preserving. I also would be unhappy if Poolesville and Dickerson were fully engulfed by bland NoVA suburbia if such a bridge came into existence.
I remember this huge strange sign as well. It was for the Food Circus supermarket. There was a lady who worked in the bakery that would make homemade cannolis on Wednesdays. My mom and I would often drive over there and get ourselves one.
