Bella foto, complimenti
I like your picture, there's just something about the rain that can set the mood for pictures. Good job!
Hi Thoris. I see the problem. I had mislabeled the picture. I need to remove the "Trans-Canada" portion of the Highway name. This stretch of road goes by several names - but "Trans-Canada" shouldn't be one of them. I think we can both agree the picture is properly located. See:
(The differences between Street View and my picture is that my picture was taken at about 15x zoom. I typically do this to bring in the background and eliminate any car motion.)
Thank you for pointing out the mistake in the description. I will also correct the descriptions in the adjacent pictures. All the best. -Dean
Thanks Dean. The Granville Ferry reference is due to the postal code that is used for pretty much all the way from Annapolis Royal to Victoria Beach and probably on from there.
Based on my experiences in my home state, Idaho, I would estimate the fire to have occurred at least three to five years prior to the picture being taken.
Thanks Tony! Date corrected. Although, the days are so long - that far north - it can mess with your head. :-)
Thanks for the pronunciation!
Rene, THANK YOU. My sincerest apologies for the mistake. Our return trip to the mainland was on the Wood Islands Ferry (to Nova Scotia). Perhaps this contributed to my geographic blunder. Again, thank you. I have corrected the caption.
