The Library of Celsus dominates to the south of the Tetragonos Agora in Ephesus. It was built in the 2nd century AD to serve as a burial monument dedicated to Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus.
This is a Neoclassical style -probably the first generation of official accommodations of the New Republic [around 1930's?].
It has many architectural idioms of the Italian Renaissance of the C14-C16 but with addition of regional brushwork of the artist.
The building reflects the optimistic vision of the new government and its human scale symbolises its root in everyday life.
This building is really fun and I would like to know more about it.

muhtesem bir görüntü, bu evler Osmanli'dan kalma mi merak ettim, hiç eskimis görünmüyorlar. Emeginize saglik.
