Greetings back from Wuppertal. It´s perhaps interesting to know that the Pirelli Tower was finished in 1958 whereas the MetLife Building was built from 1960 on and opened in 1963. So may be Walter Gropius, the Founder of the famous Bauhaus, was inspired by Gio Pontis Skyscraper when he designed the MetLife Building.
