I lived at 22096 McCoy Ave. from Sept. 1964 to Nov. 1966. We had the very last house on the east end of the street right next to the freeway. I loved it there. I was a student at Alessandro JHS and Moreno Valley High during that time. I remember right up the road from our house was the Youth Center where my band played a couple of times May-June '66. My grandma worked at the little Arnold Heights store. I hung out there a lot. I had a lot of great friends while living there, but lost contact with all of them. My dad got transferred to Westover AFB and retired a year later. I saw my old house again in 1986 when I was visiting southern California. It looked the same, but when I saw it again in 2005, it was in shambles. So sad to see that the entire place is gone now. At least I have some great memories of a great time and place.

Please note that the location for every photo on Panoramio is supposed to be the location of the PHOTOGRAPHER, not the subject. This photo was taken whilst on the train south of Battersea.

I would have thought that the Santa Fe would have installed welded rail on their main line. Jointed rail is so labor intensive.

The entire site is called "Mother Shipton's Cave", as you know. Yes, the literal cave is behind this.
