Well, well. I lived on Van Nostrand Street from 1953 to 1958. Planted all the cacti that might still be at Arnold Heights Elementary. We used to hike out to the "black tank" and catch horned toads. Boy Scout troop best in Southern California. Anybody out there remember me? Loved the place. Always thought I'd go back to Riverside, but never did. Gary B.

The Tokopah River does not exist. The title of this photo needs to be corrected. Yes, the river that flows through the Tokopah Valley is the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River.
