yes there is a way trail,(more like man-made game trail) from park lake south over the peak and then back down to Lila Lake then on to rampart. We made a loop starting from gold creek following old loggin roads through kendal lakes to meet up to the PCT(kendall catwalk was amazing) then on to park lake where we left the pct on the Way trail, coming down Lake lillian was steep( i dont recomend going up that way) then back to the vehicle at the trail head one thing; i regret not taking the trail up to Alta Mt above Lila lake.
Thanks for the links, kind comments.

Are those ropes always there or did you bring them,
I'm traveling to Rio for business for one week and I've always wanted to Climb Sugar loaf, I'm just wondering how much climbing gear i should bring.
Also, is that the most difficult part of the climb? it looks pretty steep from the picture.
Hello Krystof. I'd like to do a loop hike up to rampart ridge, is there a trail to follow up to rampart ridge in the basin that you hiked? i hiked to Rampart lakes via PCT a year ago but it was a 4 day hike, and I'm looking to do a shorter hike from the Kachess Lake side. I see there is an old logging road from satelite photos but then it ends, I'd like to find a way to hike up over the rampart ridge then down to the rampart lakes & back to the trailhead via Rachel lakes. is there another trail? from the placement of your pictures it looks like there is. I appreciate any help. thanks!
Szép helyen jártatok :)))
