I went to Philmont in the late 1960's with my troop. We went from NJ by bus and toured the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Salt Lake City, the Grand Canyon and other wonderful sites on the way. The whole trip lasted a month. YSL Neil
Actually everything looked like it would be operational when I visited two years ago. I wouldn't want to take a ride in that thing without a lot of safety checks, though.
