Whatver the argument it is no excuse for looting the town and letting it empty for all thistime!!!
A warm welcome K800i. Thank you for agreeing to join the West Highland Way group. You have been invited because at least one of your photographs fits the criteria for this group. Please feel free to add other photos from your collection so long as they also meet the criteria of being on the West Highland Way.
I'd also encourage all members of the group to watch out for other photographers within Panoramio who have shots that may qualify and feel free to invite them to join as well.
I hope that together we can create a virtual West Highland Way to be enjoyed by everone who has not had the chance to walk the way, or to stir memories of those who have completed it all, or just a part.
Best wishes to you. Paul
This pub is now demolished.
It was taken about 4 years ago.
DER, I've dun it again!!
caps lock should have a bonging sound on it-like the seatbelt warning-its a great idea for numpties like me!!
if you look at your map,(THE BOOK OR BIG BIT OF PAPER WITH ALL THOSE WIGGLY COLOURED LINES ON) you will see that your positon was looking over Dunalistair water-Loch Rannoch is further West, and impossible to see from this position. If you like, I can name the mountain (Ben) that obscures the possible view of Loch Rannoch, as well as the smaller mountain which is obscured in the low cloud in your photo.
I'm not a clever d**k, but I know this area well, and I read maps
Beautiful shot though, giving the feeling of the scottish weather. Makes you wanna stay in the car, eh?
Cheers, Mike b¬)
I Didn't know tha there are still any Königstiger existing
My June Contest Pictures
I used to drive past this place on my way to work (at the airport).
A nice sunrise coming up (judging by the time in the corner), but not helped by the back of a wagon and a little too much foreground.
I do have a better shot, but that's on film and I don't have a scanner.
I went up to Jodrell Bank some years ago, and on a similar day to the conditions in your pic. The visitor centre is worth a look.
