This is definitely on my list of places to visit before I die. Nice work showing the more traditional side of beautiful Ireland.

Thanks for posting.

Excellent shot. I tried for something similar, but I think I let the light get away. Yours is what I has hoping for. Good work!

I am so thrilled to hear you say that, Gene. This was just anothe one of those lucky shots where God was cooperating and all I had to do was press a button.

The cool thing is I will be moving just a few miles from this awesome place next year. My picture of the covered bridge is also at the same place (if you check the map). It's such a great place to camp.

Well said, Gene. Thank you so much for your compliments. I do try to bring a sense of atmosphere to my pictures because I live in an area that most people think of as boring. But I'm one of those strange people who tries to see beauty in everything and I try to make ordinary places look extraordinary. I don't think my area gets enough of that.

Thanks again for your compliments.

It is a great pub. We spent a very pleasant afternoon there, that flowed far too easily into the evening with the help of a pint too many.

And if Mr. McHugh finds this photo offensive or invasive, I'll take it down.
