Hello Peetersky! A very beautiful photo of the historic Russian cruiser Aurora! Known for it's participation in the battle of Tsishuma in the Russo-Japanese War (1905), it played an important role at the outbreak of the Communist revolution in 1917. The firing of a blank canon shot from this ship gave the signal to the start to this historic event. Today the vessel is permanently anchored on the Neva River. It serves as museum and memorabilia of the Soviet era. - The photo is of course enhanced by the presence of this beautiful lady! Many friendly greetings! Anton Trötscher
