Thank you for your message. I agree, Nairn is a beautiful little town. I took this photograph in November and, although it was a little on the cold side, the light was fantastic. There were many people around enjoying the late autumn sunshine.

Perhaps the best building in Blackburn, Flemish maybe...whatever, the building is so nice the Philistine local authority were intending to consign it to memory at one stage! Originally the building had railinged gardens to the front with a statue (gladstone i think). The present nondescript paving and lighting don't do the building any favours, though the new buildings around the back and to the sides are very good. Incidentally the interior is just as splendid with a grand staircase and tiling. Though my time as a student is long gone I still occasionally walk through the building - an uplifting experience.
