Hello Everyone, Thank you for viewing my photos. I enjoy photography and do it for fun. I am not fancy. I use a little Samsung point and shoot. I would love to have something nicer, but till that day arrives I will make use of what I have. While I am wishing.... I would love to be able to make a living by shooting photos. That's my dream job. Does anyone want to hire me? As you look through my portfolio here at Panoramio, you will notice that my photos tend to be of things that have some sort of historic meaning to where I live. I am trying to document the area as best that I can, as are some of the other folks that I see here at Panoramio. You will find in my portfolio old churches, courthouses, taverns, shops, general stores, homes and abandoned homes. Please feel free to leave comments. I love hearing from people from all over the world. Again, thank you. r.w.dawson Also visit me at my website. www.wix.com/virginiahistoryphoto/rwdawsonphotography

Νίκος Γρηγορόπουλος - Όταν δεν μπορούμε να δούμε κάτι, πάντα να λέμε : είναι μια ευκαιρία για να ξαναπάμε :-)))

Well no one wants to talk about running out of camera batteries. Some people have five batteries and leave the three fresh ones in the bag in the motel room . . . .

Ft. Eustis trains helicopter pilots, and it is I think about a mile behind our house. They have decided (as not making enough noise already) to broadcast their bugle calls all day long, starting at 6:30 AM. Then there is NASA Langley. Then there is Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) about five miles away. Then there is Langley AFB, home of SAC and TAC and I think MATS or whatever it is called. Then there is a substantial Coast Guard presence. Then there are the AWACS planes. Then there is Fort Monroe but now it does not make noise. Also within earshot is Norfolk International Airport (ORF). Someday I suppose they will all bump together in the air and be surprised--I don't see how they avoid it now. Let us not discuss air pollution, or as I suppose the Patriots would call it, "The Smell of Freedom" or "The Smell of Tax Dollars Burning to Defend Us from our Own Insanity."

Wonderful picture - L

Kind regards, Finn

Thank you Annette.

Thank you Alireza!
