Yep, I am certain it was in Missouri. I stood right by it to take the photograph, just outside of Bevier, Missouri, near Macon.

Never been here - F1/L1

Happy Holidays Mr Jerry. Bless you and yours

Rolla?
Anyway love all pics

Thanks for your comments everyone!

That's a cool view of the coal dock too! I've been looking for a coal dock for quite some time. They are common up north and east of the Mississippi, but seems like they're hard to find westward. I don't know why that is. These were used to load coal into locomotives until around 1940. After that time, most train engines were diesel. Very cool to see this!

Thanks for your comments! This is one of my favorite places in the Ozarks. As of July, 2014, the old mill is having a facelift, wood maintenance and a new coat of paint. Should be open for taking photos again sometime in August, 2014, hopefully before the leaves turn colors.

This is the Watson House, built by Henry Watson in 1879. The exact location is 628 Alby St., Alton, IL. Coordinates are 38.89407 -90.18386 or N38 53 38 W90 11 01 or N 38 53.644 W 90 11.032

I do remember 15 cent gas. Like 2. Great picture.
