Cairngorm Mountain, Glenshee and The Lecht are the main ski areas in Scotland offering skiing training as well as amazing stretch of natural skiing terrain down the hills. Go for long-haul skiing in Scotland with trails as long as 30 kilometers.

But not on the lawns of Invercauld House one suspects.

Visited crathie last week found it absolutley wonderful and I loved the area. Wish I could stay in that area but I have to come home. Scotland was beautiful never thought I would seen the Highlands still wish I could be there now. Maybe I will visit again next year. I miss the peacefull ness of the area.

However, Glen is the Gaelic name for a valley. The main village in the valley of Glencoe is properly called Carnach (A`Charnaich in Scots Gaelic) - not Glencoe village.

Glencoe means "Glen of the river Coe or Cona" as in Ossianic mythology.
