The Mill Run Cemetery appeared to be abandoned when visited in May, 2013. There was no signage or fencing. Just a collection of about three dozen grave markers in a small clearing in the woods. The most recent headstone date observed was 1980.

Driving Directions: From Romney travel one half mile west on US Rt. 50 to the South Branch River Road. Drive 3.2 miles south to Club House Road. Drive one mile on Club House Road through the Peterkin Conference Center to a stream crossing where the road is blocked by a cable. Continue up hill on foot about 200 yards to an intersection marked by a large white cross (see picture nearby) and a sign pointing left to the Hallelujah Trail. Turn left at this intersection, follow the trail up hill another 200 yards and take the first trail branching off to the right. Follow this Jeep trail about a half mile to the cemetery. The trail is blocked by a large downed tree 100 yards from the cemetery. GPS 39.29026 N 78.78427 W

The office personnel at the Peterkin Conference Center are a good source of local directions.

Thank You Mr. Rogers for your explanation, it must be an amazing and beautiful place in summer time.

This place is well worth the trip if you enjoy classic airplanes as well as automobiles
