Lovely photos of Trabuco. This building is the shrine. The monks spend lots of time there, but there living quarters are elsewhere.

When I was in Interact class of 75, we painted the play ground equipment in the park, the tank was solid green so we of course made in Camo colored :-) great memories

Bodie is an original mining town from the late 1800's. What's left today stands in a state of "arrested decay" and is maintained by the California State Parks System, who took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park.
