Here the invader was stopped (refers to the battle of the Ardennes dec. 1944
This is actually one enormous tree. Quite impressive, these Kandy (Peradenya) botanical gardens are a must for every visitor of the area..
The trees have been removed now, unluckily, they were a great sight. Wonder why but this is my most 'popular' picture on Panoramio..
