The position for this photo was questioned. The rules for Google Earth state that the position should be the location where the photo is taken, not where the subject is.
Oops, wrong mountain. I've changed the name, thanks to an astute observer.
I have received a comment suggesting a new 'correct' position for this photo. To anyone who thinks this photo is out of position, please refer to the rules for mapping photos in GoogleEarth. The mapped position is supposed to be the location where the photo was TAKEN, not necessarily where the subject is located. The position of where this photo was taken is mapped correctly.
It was taken while driving through the mountains from Mexico City to Cuidad Victoria. I don't know what else I can say - GPS didn't exist back then. Maybe 'east central' would be better?
Thank you for the photo.
Nice aerial shot. Like. Greetings. Alende
Taken from my family's cemetary.....thanks for posting.
Hello Miguel, I wonder about that too. There are no power lines or electrical substation so I think they are not solar panels. Because that is an agricultural area, that could be some type of agricultural operation near that river.
