Johaarjoshimanth Gha…'s conversations

Extremely rugged, harsh, wild Hindukush! An excellent pic.! L+F

Splendid nature and photo! Like/Fav, Congratulation for your wonderful photos! Frendly greetings, Nina

Thanks rkbaig for your helpful explanation about those mountains on the one hand and this pic on the other. Of course, at about 7400 m Istor-o Nal is indeed the third highest peak in the Hindu-Kush Range after Tirich Mir and Noshaq. And this peak in the pic looks not particularly large, compared with its neighbors.

Really a magnificent aerial view of these extremely grandiose region where all world's highest mountain ranges meet together. Congratulation for the breathtaking images! L+F I added you to my favorite ph.s Morrique!

And dietmar proske's explanation is of course right! Nanga Parbat is seen from the NW as it is concluded from the shape of its silhouette (on left is Rakhiot Peak); and the Hindu Kush Range lies at NW of this massif. The westernmost Karakoram and Hindu Raj at N!

FYI Morrique: But that isn't a valley glacier! That's the snow covered base of a river valley!
