Спасибо за хорошее фото. Это старый ртутный рудник - Опалит, часть комплекса миоценовой кальдеры Макдермитт. Здесь добывали киноварь. Месторождение открыто Уильямом Бретцем в 1924 г, а добыча производилась до 1943 г. С 1944 по 1961 рудник периодически производил руду, но лишь небольшое количество....
