Comment by bevington: The location is correct, but the name is incorrect. Tooley Street is in Bermondsey, not Camberwell. Samuel Bevington was the first Mayor of Bermonsey, this statue being erected after Colonel Bevington's death by appreciative residents of Bermondsey.

This is Apsley House, the London home of the Duke of Wellington (yes, there still is one).

It also has, or at least had, the distinctive postal address of "Number 1, London"
