This is not the Diving Board. The Diving Board (on the USGS 7.5 minute map "Half Dome") is southeast of Half Dome's summit and is not part of the dome. To get to the Diving Board you go cross country ENE from the Half Dome Trail in Little Yosemite Valley, pass north of Mt Broderick and Lost Lake (between Mt Broderick and Half Dome), and on to the rim of Tenaya Canyon.
