This photo is taken from the middle of our family sheep station - hope you asked persmission to be there! We often graze sheep here in the summer, it's important we know if they have been disturbed by visitors.

hi Nick - I looked at some of your photos before, very nice. I went up the Shotover from below Loch Nagar to Tummel burn hut in about 3 hours... then the next day up to the Shotover saddle in about 6.5hrs, total 10hrs to Aspiring hut. I recommend having a look at Moir's guide north (available through NZAC or at a DoC) Coming from the Rees valley I used a paraglider.

The Mackay Harbour Precinct is much more beautiful than this. These ships wait longer than a month sometimes, and lately (2008-2009) there have been up to 100 ships waiting.

Hi, whoever did the position correction, I can't find your message anymore... anyway, the people just visible in the bottom of the photo are on the actual pass, I was about 20-30 metres away. cheers
