I know the line well!!

This loco is in permanent residence at Grosmont!! It made a trip to Whitby a couple of years ago!! Unfortunately, the track bends are so severe above the viaduct that it is thought to be too dangerous for regular journeys.

Other steam locos are now running scheduled services between Whitby and Pickering!! A very popular event ;>)
