Where's Waldo ? If you want to be happy for one night, get drunk. If you want to be happy for one week, get married. If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, embrace photography ! Photograph what you like - at least one person will admire the results. Don't worry about chasing the light - it travels much faster than you can - chase what intrigues you and record the images that make themselves available. Repeat if necessary. Photograph from the heart , not what is trendy or popular - if you always do what has already been done , you will only get what's already been got ! ... we as photographers try to capture unique moments in time - those unique moments are not worth much unless we share them with others ! ... life is short ... photograph hard ... email ... scorchedearthphoto@gmail.com Always follow the 2 basic Rules of Photography Rule # 1 - there are no rules in Photography . Rule # 2 - refer to Rule # 1 ..... As a photographer , my goal is to be remembered as a disciple of Edward Abbey , not the next Edsel Adams !

Scorched Earth Photo…'s conversations

Thank you ELIDA - I love to photograph nature and wildlife because it appeals to me - architecture , cityscapes , and people do not !

Hello Man in the Maze - gotta love nature and wildlife !

* A superb photo of the winter scenery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Favorite and Like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greetings, John *

Good eye, Amelia, You found the old Indian chief and his blue eyed animal spirits. Could they be singing that old Bob Dylan tune?

...the answer my friend is Blowing in the Wind

Wonderful composition with great light.

"All of us have something we can leave behind. An ideal old age might be likened to a magnificent sunset. Just as the deep red of the setting sun holds the promise of a beautiful tomorrow, a life well lived conveys the gift of hope to future generations."

Greatly appreciated ELIDA - we only have hummingbirds for 5 weeks out of the year ( migrating thru ) and it's a special time for me and I spend countless hours trying to photograph them - sometimes I get lucky and capture some decent images !

Thank you ELIDA - hummingbirds are special to me - I am happy you like them also !

Excellent shot
