Where's Waldo ? If you want to be happy for one night, get drunk. If you want to be happy for one week, get married. If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, embrace photography ! Photograph what you like - at least one person will admire the results. Don't worry about chasing the light - it travels much faster than you can - chase what intrigues you and record the images that make themselves available. Repeat if necessary. Photograph from the heart , not what is trendy or popular - if you always do what has already been done , you will only get what's already been got ! ... we as photographers try to capture unique moments in time - those unique moments are not worth much unless we share them with others ! ... life is short ... photograph hard ... email ... Always follow the 2 basic Rules of Photography Rule # 1 - there are no rules in Photography . Rule # 2 - refer to Rule # 1 ..... As a photographer , my goal is to be remembered as a disciple of Edward Abbey , not the next Edsel Adams !

Scorched Earth Photo…'s conversations

It is a feast for the birds and a feast for the photographer Eva !

Hello Tery - I have about 500 sunflowers growing all over the yard so there is plenty for all ! The Chickadees stash the seeds in trees and shrubs for winter food , and the Goldfinches knock seeds to the ground from the flowers while feeding - both insuring an abundant crop next year - I don't have to plant them , just give them a little water .

Vielen Dank Raingard, Thanks Sixten Imgs, the date is correct. I am not absolutely sure if the street is, but it was in Brooklyn.

Hallo Jolanda

groet Karin

Hello Eva - the bees , butterflies , and hummingbirds appreciate your comments !

It´s magic, like a dream Greg . Like Leonor

Hello Greg - light and lens are critical , and it helps to have a steady supply of hummingbirds ! Morning or late afternoon seem to be the best times since it's cooler and the hummingbirds are more active in the full sun .

Hello Yuri , thanks for the interest and like for some of my older posts

best wishes Karin
