Where's Waldo ? If you want to be happy for one night, get drunk. If you want to be happy for one week, get married. If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, embrace photography ! Photograph what you like - at least one person will admire the results. Don't worry about chasing the light - it travels much faster than you can - chase what intrigues you and record the images that make themselves available. Repeat if necessary. Photograph from the heart , not what is trendy or popular - if you always do what has already been done , you will only get what's already been got ! ... we as photographers try to capture unique moments in time - those unique moments are not worth much unless we share them with others ! ... life is short ... photograph hard ... email ... Always follow the 2 basic Rules of Photography Rule # 1 - there are no rules in Photography . Rule # 2 - refer to Rule # 1 ..... As a photographer , my goal is to be remembered as a disciple of Edward Abbey , not the next Edsel Adams !

Howdee Carlee - the digital darkroom is somewhat addictive I must admit but one has to ask for what purpose - does one do it for fortune and fame or to accentuate the aura of the capture ?

Indeed Carlee - we have met the enemy and he is us ! If many landowners would just cut the blooms off of noxious plants (time allowing) the spread of invasive species would be limited . Unfortunately , a lot of the seeds are viable for up to fourty years . No easy answers , just easy questions . Irrigation water is the lifeblood of Wyoming ranchers and farmers - it is also the source of many of the weed infestations - kill the brain and the body will die - and require certified hay for all excursions into the high land !

Hello Spencer, thanks for sharing this beautiful scene of Squaretop Mt. from Green River Lakes. Brings back a lot of good memories, including my first close contact with a moose. Glad to see those two old sheds still standing and seemingly unaffected by time.

Happy Trails, Carlee
