Small homes for white staff on the right, company buildings on the left. I believe the one on the immediate left was the company store, beyond it was the office.
These large vats are called, "Reduction Tanks". Into them went all the fish heads and tails to be boiled. Fish oil rose to the surface to be skimmed off and used as a fine lubricant. The solid residue would be removed and used to make fertilizer. There are three still standing although originally there were several more

The is the 'footbridge'. Built in 1929, it is one of the longest tress footbridges in the world.
