i love this picture! one of the best i've seen on google earth. my father would love it too, he spent about 6 years in Germany with the Canadian army in the late 50's early 60's as a paratrooper and medic.

my great grandmothers house is about 100 meters from where the road goes into the gas plant. nice picture it brings back some nice memories.

I live in Nova Scotia and yes, sea gulls by the truck load. They are everywhere. Even steal food from your hands, if you are not careful. It is no fun pickniking as they are quite a nuisance.

Dies ist der Bahnhof Schloß Holte. Hier verkehrt ausschließlich die "Senne-Bahn" von der Bahngesellschaft "NordWestBahn" seit 15.12.2003 dem Tag als die Deutsche Bahn die Strecke von Bielefeld-Paderborn, bzw. von Paderborn weiter nach Braunschweig über Holzminden an diese Gesellschaft verpachtet hat. In Richtung Bielefeld (Blickrichtung in den Horizont) kommen in dieser Reihenfolge noch folgende Haltestellen: Sennestadt (Krackser Bahnhof), Windelsbleiche, Brackwede-Süd, Brackwede und schließlich als Endstation Bielefeld Hauptbahnhof.
