The beachhouse took flame as a result of an electrical fault, resulting in the total destruction of the roof structure. The building was closed for the duration of 2007. It was demolished at the end of 2007. A new hotel is in the planning on the site.

I found the correct place at the Sandown Bay Southeast of Kleinmond. I remembered the Beachhotel where i was dining before i walked down the rocks (nearest to "Kleinmond beach with Heuningklip" by Welpie).
