The sensor on many digital cameras is sensitive to infrared light. I use a Hoya R72 infrared filter, which blocks visible light from entering the camera. It requires a fairly long exposure, 8 seconds for this photo, so you'll need a tripod. Adjust the colors in Photoshop and you have an IR image.
