I rented an apartment in this house for a year in 1957/1958. At that time the original owner/widow was 85 years old and still teaching piano on a baby grand piano. The widow converted part of the house into two apartments. I lived in the apartment to the left of the front door on the first floor and there was a second apartment above. The widow told me that shortly after her marriage, her husband brought her to this property while the house was under construction and told her that he spent her $13,000 dowry to buy this house for her.
