Este Personaje es Sancho Barahona, fundador de este municipio. Fue uno de los capitanes de Don Pedro de Alvarado, el conquistador de Guatemala, en su paso del valle de Iximchè al valle de Almolonga en los años de 1530.

Interesting comment! But a bit of a stretch. Soundz like you weren't too impressed with Alamos. That's OK - we like it here and we think the arches were a bit of overkill. I've travelled all over Mex & enjoy the fact that little Alamos stays mostly unchanged.

Bye Sandro & Cristina

I see it when i go to Tepic ^^ good memories

Thank you, it was an amazingly pretty morning.

Hello my friend...V o T e D...beautiful photo...well done...have a nice day:)...warm regards,Naklaj21;)

The photos of Good Friday in Antigua were all taken in central Antigua. There is a very elaborate procession through the streets and people make these fantastic "carpets" consisting of flowers, grains and vegetables that the procession walks on and destroys. Impressive on many levels.
