Ruins of Torr Mill. It was originally built by Samuel Schofield some time before 1794 beside the confluence of the rivers Goyt and Sett in order to take advantage of the water power. It burned down in 1838, was rebuilt and ran until 1912 when it burned down again and was destroyed.
