Wow amazing shot
This is the history we like. We wish we had historic structures in this country to equal what is in the old lands of our world. Jeff, we really apreciate the bit of history you try to provide along with your images. We know how hard this is to do sometimes and the effort that goes into it but at the same time, it allows people like ourselves to "google" some of this history and through knowledge comes a deeper appreciation of thoes who came before us.
Jeff: This is just terrible. I could not resist looking up the history of this old mill. It was magnificant and had such a splendid history. It seems that most things of this type don't just decay from neglect but rather they suffer descruction from fire. What we would give to walk the floors and experience the manufacturing methods of the day.
Jeff, one thing I meant to say about this place was, across the street was an old peach packing shed. It had a big open porch with lots of rocking chairs and the locals could go there every day during peach season and eat fresh peach icecream and rock in the chairs. To us, that's what it's all about.
are you shure with the taxi - for me it looks more like they're waiting for a red light ;-)
Regretfully Si I've always found that is is poor for birdlife. With all the water around you'd imagine that it waould be full of ducks and their friends but it's oddly quiet.
No ~ if she had her legs crossed the other way ~ then you would be right :) ~ But then of course if we really understood the beautiful way that women's minds work ......
Kevin that would be right on the mark. They are the ones sometimes seen fighting in YouTube.
Thank you Liam he was the first one awake and wasn't moving much.
