I'm not sure Kenneth but I'm thinking summer has been cancelled here. It rains and rains and rains and today we had a high of 65F for goodness sake!

I'm sick of taking green and yellow water-falls (we have lots as you can guess) so this rare dawn and some lightning has been it!

Many thanks for your kind comment and sorry for the rant - David

interest rates in the 16th century: http://www.historyworld.net/wrldhis/PlainTextHistories.asp?ParagraphID=idu

"Interest rates at the time are never less than 12% per annum. And when a loan has to be raised urgently, the 16th-century banker is often able to negotiate a rate of as high as 45%"

Hi Jens and thank you for the visit. I must not be getting notifications and I did not mean to ignore you. This mill located in a small Georgia town, is all things German. I think the mill when built was once functional, however it has been allowed to evolve into only a part of the scenery now and is so grown up that you can't get to it now. You're correct, no wind can power it now. Pardon me now while I go visit your gallery.
