Dear Jim, I was really lucky to get this one! Arriving short before closing hour, I made it quick and "dirty" without a tripod on a workbench. The light was nearly perfect: Very cloudy so that the contrast was good to control and the picture looking somewhat like a sunny day outside. The machine itself is very impressing, as the rotating cylinders for the transportcabin wire are. On the left side you can see the funny formed window, where the wire run through. It needs to have this shape, because the cylinder got a conical shape to control the impact of speed and weight. (Info of the very friendly engineer from the museum.) I am heading to work now & wish you a nice day. Thanks for keeping your attention to my pics :-) This is very motivating Michael
Dear Jim, sorry for the delay I'm working on our Club-Magazin (MTV-Herrenhausen.de), which will be published in two weeks.
Thanks for your friendly comment to my Falmouth baywatcher. (In the bottom of the right middlepart you can see our production car (white/blue Mercedes van with NDR (Nord Deutscher Rundfunk = North German Brodcast. We were filming a travel mag about Cornwall.)
I took the shots in a short break we had that day.
I use Panorama Studio 2 pro from a German programmer, which I appreciate a lot.
I only got CS 3 with which I find it hard to control the horizon to a straight line.
Well, and because of the name of the site "Panoramio" I decided only to bring up panos ...
And I dont think, that your aftermath-pano is poor. The mood is very impressing.
But I too have no idea, why some of my panos (the St. Ives ones) got only very few clicks, which I find represent too very different, but lovely sights of the place.
But anyway, its fun to get and stitch them!
All the best! Michael
Thanks for the feedback Michael..Your comments are inspirational!
Thanks Joni :-) I use panorama studio 2 - will check out pm4. All the best, Michael
