Heygates Ltd have seven flour mills over their three sites, Bugbrooke, Downham Market and Tring, producing in excess of 9,000 tonnes of products per weeks. The reason this photo is on here is because for years and years I have driven up the M1 weekly en route to Rugby and have wondered what this place was! Twice I had left the motorway at Junction 16 and had tried to find the way to it with no luck so this was third time lucky. A bloody flour mill after all that, exotic or what!!!

This is Alphabet Street Art by the artist Ben Eine, real name Ben Flynn, 45 years of age based in London! So there!

Apparently this guy was the 13th Emperor of the Roman Empire who lived from 53 AD to 117 AD. He was Emperor from 98 AD until his death. And no I hadn't heard of him either!!!

Our destination as part of our Christmas present from the kids. A 95-storey skyscraper in Southwark which forms part of the London Bridge Quarter development. Standing 1016ft high it is currently the 87th tallest building in the world, the tallest building in the European Union and the fourth tallest building in Europe. It is also the second tallest free-standing structure in the UK after the concrete tower at the Emley Moor transmitting station. The views are breathtaking as is the price of a tiny flute of champagne, £10, but you gotta do it!!!

This is a commercial skyscraper at 20 Fenchurch Street in the historic City of London financial district. It has its nickname because of its distinctive shape. In the foreground is an ancient Anglican church in Byward Street. It was founded in 675 and is one of the oldest churches in London.

This is the central tower, the old keep, at the Tower of London. It was built by William the Conqueror in the early 1080s.

Another view of the famous landmark.
