I enjoy snapping randomly with my compact camera and then trying to make intricate panoramas with the resulting shots. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't ;-).
Update: Now I've got a dSLR, it's a whole new learning curve!

This is a statue in a new orchard planted at Cotehele in Cornwall.
When everything's green and growing, it looks like a hand offering an apple up from the earth. However, in the depths of winter it just looks sinister and surreal!
