I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. Current lens FYI Nikon 50mm F1.4 G Nikon 105mm F2.8 G Nikon 24-120mm F4 G Nikon 70-200mm F4 G Samyang 14mm F2.8 still enjoy helping other to enjoy photography as well. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

Hello again Marina and NikonW, nice to see you both here again. Capturing light is always my aim and I was happy with this one. I just saw that GE has rejected it -ah well! Took a lot of photos of this but had not noticed in my rush to capture 'the moment' too tha many had foreground distractions. Thanks for the comments and like.

Cheers, Herb

Another beautiful photo, cool shot!

Berend its a shame the milky way moved so far over so the coastal cities colour the sky. love this lens. Steve

Berend i am learning each and every time next time it will be just as i wish one more step to get it right. thanks Steve

Berend took me a few goes to get the lighting right not too much to over blow the tree just as good as the black silhouette but i love the trunk view and the star shining bright. Steve

Berend thank you glad you like it as well, only a prime can give this view as well as this. Steve

Berend on the still warm day you are 100% right beautiful. Steve
