I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. Current lens FYI Nikon 50mm F1.4 G Nikon 105mm F2.8 G Nikon 24-120mm F4 G Nikon 70-200mm F4 G Samyang 14mm F2.8 still enjoy helping other to enjoy photography as well. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

Nick & Berend my grand daughter in the waves cooling off was just perfect in the heat. we have been lucky this year no so hot on xmas day 32c. oh have some wishes thanks Nick i hope just one comes true. all the best to you both from down under steve

Berend after using a wide angle i had fogotten just how small a view 50mm is but it sure works well. thanks steve

Berend i was not happy that i just packed the 50mm to get shot of my grand son when i saw the clouds, 16-35 would have been magic. been a very long while since i have been able to get a sunset this colourfull. thanks Steve

Gabriel,Berend & John what better way to watch the sun go down can of beer in hand but he only had a camera in the phone and the solitude. got all the good elements to me this shot. thanks gents for your wishes. Steve
