I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. Current lens FYI Nikon 50mm F1.4 G Nikon 105mm F2.8 G Nikon 24-120mm F4 G Nikon 70-200mm F4 G Samyang 14mm F2.8 still enjoy helping other to enjoy photography as well. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

Hi again Steve, thanks for this comment. Not quite up to the heights of the NZ Alps but I like the sentiment. Just very happy that you like this one too. Another shot of this area to be posted soon.

Cheers, Herb

Thanks for this Steve. The mist was lower down just some minutes earlier and I took some high-key shots then which I might post later.

Cheers, Herb

Thanks Steve, as said above a great walk but not for the feint hearted. The mist was an added bonus. Not a place to swim though.

Cheers, Herb
