I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

We also walked to the end and visited the underwater viewing stage in november 2006 Steve. The rails were in a awfull condition. Greeting Berend

Tappet there are a few in NZ but what school did you go to i can tell you if it was us. Tarawa was a world away all right a great place to grow up as a kid. i hoped you looked at the rest of dads old slides from Tarawa. look foward to your answer. Steve

Berend i remember that as well but its all gone i believe last time we went inside it. great history in this spot.
