views I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. Current lens FYI Nikon 50mm F1.4 G Nikon 105mm F2.8 G Nikon 24-120mm F4 G Nikon 70-200mm F4 G Samyang 14mm F2.8 Tamron 150-600F5-6.3 SP Di VC USD still enjoy helping other to enjoy photography as well. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

WOW ... that's impressive Herb. I never seen before such a long line of wagons.

A fantastic view Herb and also taken from a very good - low - point of view. The dramatic looking skypart, gives this beautiful scene the finishing touch.

… Precioso registo.

de Portugal, cordiais cumprimentos.

Joli, Patrick, Laurel, Lizab and Antoney thanks for sharing with me my week in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Was a great place to see and visit. You are so lucky to have this on your doorstep Laurel. Thanks too for the fine awards.

Regards, Herb

Thank you very much Antony. Your words honour me!

Regards, Herb

Stuart and Eva thanks for another visit and comment. This area is indeed desolate, especially in the Mid Winter I expect. The Culumbia icefield is about 125Sq miles (325Sqkm) in area and 100-1198ft(365m) in depth so that is pretty big Eva and, in comparison - we are really small! Was an exciting day indeed.

Best wishes, Herb

Muito obrigada por suas palavras gentis

I appreciate the nice comments, likes and FAVs, Bernard, Micky, José and Almöhi . . . thanks!
