I come from a back ground of parents who loved to take photo and still very much a part of their lives and I guess you could say its rubbed off. I enjoy surfing, family life and taking photos as a Hobby. I started here on panoramio to show the world a little about my small corner of the world. I hope you enjoy the photos and come away knowing a bit more about this world we live in and how different this part of the world is to the rest of Europe and most other parts of the world. I have turned the camera back 34 years with a D600 full frame camera enjoying it. Current lens FYI Nikon 50mm F1.4 G Nikon 105mm F2.8 G Nikon 24-120mm F4 G Nikon 70-200mm F4 G Samyang 14mm F2.8 still enjoy helping other to enjoy photography as well. NO MORE INVITES TO NEW GROUPS I DON'T HAVE THE TIME ANY MORE, NOT UNLESS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR GROUP IS JUST UP MY ALLY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE MEET WITH REJECTION.

Thankyou Psonia 😊.MartyvH welcome and thanks for the wise words. Regards from west Australia

The overcast day creates its own appeal. A tranquil kind of shelter from the sun. Combined with the colours of the grass, it's a different world created that I love.

Saludos desde Caracas, muchas gracias por todas las visitas a mi galeria que es de ustedes...

Thanks Herb :) I am planning a trip down south to Margaret River to watch some of the surfing comp in a month or so, the skies are super clear down there this time of year and am hoping for an aurora australis capture :)

Thanks for your kind words Herb :) I had to tweak my settings from Steve's due to our slightly different Cameras, changed my ISO from Steve's 2000 to 1600 and adjusted my white balance to suit. During my shoot this night I took exposures at 5 seconds then 10-15-20-25 and 30 to find my sweet spot, which turned out to be around the 20 second mark as seen here. My new 10mm Samyang lens in definitely a favorite now and I will enjoy getting out during the cooler clear winter nights to get some more captures of the magnificent Milky Way :)

Argenna, Corey. Thanks a lot, have a great week !

Another visit from you Yuri, another thank you from me.

Cheers, Herb
