As a native Kansan, I invite you to visit and enjoy the Heartland of America. I grew up in a small Kansas farming community, lived in the Kansas City metro for more than 20 years and now live in Jefferson City, Missouri. Please browse my photos and maybe you'll find something you didn't know existed. Maxine

I tend to drive by on the interstate, but this time, I was taking a different route and decided to stop in rather than just drive by. I find wonderful things when I take different routes. It had been some time since I'd stopped in Lindsborg, but I believe these dala horses have been on display for a number of years.

Thank you for your nice comment on my photo.

The name of the sculpture is Jamboree. Here is the view from the front. The alligator/croc playing the banjo is kinda cute, too. Thanks for your nice comment. Maxine

Thank you for your nice comments on my photo. Even without all the fun pink and orange colors, this is one of my favorite sunset photos. Maxine

Thanks for your nice comment on my photo. This is one of the few that turned out. A LOT of them didn't. I just love digital cameras! Maxine

Corey- Thanks for your comment on my photo. I really thought the carved stone on the entry-way was wonderful. Maxine
