Hmmmm, methinks I don't lie with my photos. The grave of Tuter is indeed atop a rarely-seen crag on the eastern sawteeth of Sleeping Beauty. Few know it exists. Best of luck. Once atop just keep exploring eastwards! cheers, scott
I'd love it if you'd title your photos...it would help me and everyone else know where the pix are taken. Thanks, if you can....cheers, scott
I finally found your Bend Overall Guide books at Ray's Market in Prineville and picked it up..
As a side note I used your book Curious Gorge to locate Big Creek Falls, and Curly Creek Falls up off the Wind River Hwy..
Thanks for all your wanderings and writngs over the years.. You are Epic!
Just a little out of place...Elowaf falls a little east of here.
Ummm, a little off in the placement I think. I know Goog earth was a blur back then...but???
You've managed to place Oregon's signature icon in somebody's yard in Dodson. I think you can do better if you try.
C'mon...this isn't remotely where Oneonta Gorge is located.
Early/mid-May is the perfect time for a hike to McCall Pt!
Of course I give EXACT directions...so you don't go down a wrong road and end up on the private property of the none-too-happy neighbor.
Sometimes this waterfall pours through/under the lower lip here, creating an amazing double-archway-falls. In this pic the lower arch passage has been blocked-up with forest debris.
