A FAVORITE AND LIKE!!!!
No new photos in over 8 months - I hope all is well!
I stumbled into your album while looking at something in GEarth. VERY nice! I was able to identify the locations of 85% of your photos before checking the captions. I live in Burnsville (23 years) but am origiinally from W. Des Moines, IA so your shots of Des Moines came as a bit of a surprise..
To answer your question regarding "auto club"; Just to the northwest of the Burnsville Performing Arts Center you will find a rather large apartment complex. Part of that property was once occupied by the Minnesota AAA (auto club). I doubt that it has been gone more than ten years. This might also explain "Travelers Road".
Only the very top of the dome is scaffolded in this view. How bad to you think the scaffolding will get when they do the overhaul?
Very nice HDR picture!
So I have been looking at your pictures lately and notice that you shoot in some of the same types of places I like to shoot at. Have you ever done a downtown night shoot? I love taking night shots. All my good ones, and the ones that do not require a property release, I sell on micro stock, all others end up here. You should join the twin cities photography club on meetup.com and come shoot with us!
This really shows how green those CFLs really are.
Thanks for joining the MN WMA group, and thanks for adding photos. I suspect this will be a small group, so if you come across others with photos in a state WMA or SNA, or National WR in Minnesota, please invite them to the group.
A little flooded, wouldn't you say? ;)
