This was after a memorable 2.5 hours flight in a 1962 Beaver floatplane with Vancouver Island Air based at Campbell River, Vancouver Island .
We did a "Mail Run" out to several small villages including Kingcombe, landing in a fast flowing river - wonderful stuff thanks to pilot Rolly and Phil back at the base .
